I also can’t carry her yet bc of my sprained ankle so I drag her bed in with her on it and she really enjoys that 🤣 when I went to do it this morning she learned from last night and got into position to ride and started purring. She loves roller coaster… 🎢

Her eye looks so bad here because the lighting but it’s actually healing well :) it’s just reddish because of scaring on the outside of the side of her eye and it’s just shiny because I just put her eyedrops in 🫶

change i wouldn't recommend necessarily but that i do is to cut a hole for the nose with an exacto knife so he doesnt have a giant seam on his forehead. ive never had a problem with doing this or making it work but i dont think that will be universal. but you can try it

change i made that id rec is adding extra seam allowance on body & back of chin/hair & sew the two together instead of attaching body + head with a ladder stitch. i avoid ladder stitch attachment for plushies w big heads bc it makes them floppy & they can end up looking down forever

they have a great walk though/tutorialish with photos i think would be really helpful for people who arent used to reading sewing patterns

speaking of this is the pattern i used for my spamton. i didnt copy it directly bc i had an agenda
the hair piece strip is NOT long you need an extra 2 inches at least esp if your using a non elastic fabric

keep seeing cute handmade tenna plushies but none of the ones i want to steal are putting their patterns anywhere even for money. was agonizing over this but realized i never posted mine bc i didnt use a pattern i just evilly winged him & most ppl w experience r probably also doing that ughhh

nothing wrong not following a tutorial also i love doing things without looking up a tutorial and only seeing the consensus on weather i did it right or not after. its fun to try and reverse engineer things it makes you think more about what your doing and why rather than just doing steps
