KOSA is now in red alert priority.

Please contact your representatives, dem and gop alike, and demand they oppose KOSA

We need to turn out in numbers against this!

I think it’s a mix of all of those, really. It feels really cheap to just make her a busty smooth wasp-waisted chic number #1639 to be fucked by the nearest non-female character for the sake of churning out more beat off material

U.K. residents, could this be your chance to stop paypro censorship in the country? Please sign this petition

Petition
Ban payment processors stopping services based on objections to legal content
Government should legislate that payment processing companies may not place stipulations on use of their services regarding sales of otherwise legal content and, if they do so, must face legal penalties and must remunerate platforms and individuals for lost income until service is restored.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. If you think artists are just "naturally talented", you're deeply wrong. The only difference between you and us is that we kept trying when it didn't come out like we hoped.
You can always make art yourself. There's no bad time to start, you can start now.

Once again I will always recommend getting totally obsessed with something you want to see more of as motivation for getting good at creative stuff.

Can't believe people don't get this; but the reason this payment processor shit has to be all or nothing is because once these freaks establish a line on what fiction is or isn't okay the line will only move further and further in. You have to fight against the line entirely.

steven universe pearl sitting in a garden, surrounded by pink and white roses with a small waterfountain next to her. she's dressed in a delicate aristocratic outift with a short jacket, cravat, corset, gloves and stockings. she's propping up her face with her right hand, while her left hand rests on a sword with a rose on its hilt.

Visa says they're still drowning today! Payment processors think that we're not organized enough to keep this up but it's we either prove them wrong or submit to global censorship so it's. not much of a contest. Keep calling all 4!!

SCREEN ACT:
-full age verification. (biometric scans, ID uploads, background checks)

-Deeply unsafe for personal and data privacy. Security/data breaches are rampant, and uploading so much sensitive data to every single we site is just asking for mass ID theft.

-id verification is much, much harder on small websites than larger ones, creating a chilling effect and stifling speech for anyone that isnt a massive corporation

-draw comparison to UK's OSA [online safety act] and the backlash it is receiving

KOSA:
-creates "duty of care,” meaning that tech companies and platform giants would be required to take steps to prevent potentially harmful encounters, such as posts about eating disorders and instances of online bullying, from impacting minors.

-who gets to decide what is or is not "unsafe for minors"? Especially under the current administration

-it will block access to important info minors could use to keep themselves safe or advocate for themselves. Ex: sex ed.

-the vague nature of the bill will almost certainly be used to target LGBT content under the guise of "protecting children"

Be aware that another shitty bill has been introduced: The SCREEN Act.

If passed, it would require Full. Age. Verification.

Like KOSA, call all your reps & tell them what a horrible idea this is.

Spread this pls.

the number below doesnt work, as Stripe has changed their number, and is demanding a $2.99 fee to even tell you what it is.
however, this number DOES still work and will let you leave a message:

I know we're upset about itch, but they're not the only ones

Payment processors harassed companies bc of a 1,000 email hate campaign

But we can EASILY top 1,000!

I prewrote an email + got the contact info - you just have to send!

We CAN make a difference 💕

Collective Shout, the group that took credit for bullying Mastercard into recently censoring more platforms, stated that apparently it took them ~1000 phonecalls to convince them to give them what they wanted?

We got like way more people than that don't we?
dieselbrain.bsky.social
ok then. one angle of attack then needs to be actively bombarding Visa and Mastercard's phone numbers and emails.

are customer support phone numbers/emails the best avenue to start with or is there a better option?
