Love What You Do
Instead of pursuing what you love you should pursue what you are good at as the success will compound which is what will really keep you engaged. This goes for hobbies as well as work and keeping them...

snapbyte.dev is finally live!

I’ve been working on snapbyte since August. I started building it after realising I cannot find time to read content aggregators anymore. It fetches top stories from aggregators, summarises them multiple languages and creates digest based on user configuration.
Snapbyte - Build Your Own Digest, Your Way
Stop scrolling. Start building your digest. Create a personalized digest that matches exactly what you care about. Control sources, topics, and delivery time from Hacker News, Reddit, and more.

I read 5 blog posts today, all quite short, 2-3 minutes read each, but I found them all very useful and it made me realise I should go back to reading more.

I haven’t set any New Year’s resolutions for 2026, so this will be the first one in the list.

📚I want to read a book each month this year.

A couple of years ago I hanged my childhood on my office wall.

This Christmas I got a game boy color for myself as a present to relive my childhood.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎁🍾

This is the most beautiful (or handsome - not sure if it’s a boy or girl) cat I’ve ever seen.

One of the neighbours cat and pops in every now and then to make my day better.

I’ve been skeptical about what AI can do for me as a coding agent as it repeatedly failed very simple tasks I’ve been giving to it.

Finally yesterday I used Claude Opus 4.5 and it didn’t make any silly mistakes and successfully created 5 commits for me.

Hmmm, El*n M*usk and x.AI, very very interesting, hmmm, how about no?

Anyone thinks that these outages (AWS, Cloudflare, etc.) we saw this year is a result of AI automation 🫣
Damn half the internet is down again - including Downdetector

Downdetector is multi-region but has a singular dependency on Cloudflare

Is Cloudflare down again?

I was trying to teach my 5 year old how to play chess, I wanted to begin by showing how each piece moves.

She immediately grabbed the Knight and went “giddy up horsie giddy up!”

I upgraded my MacBook to Tahoe today and looking at this background feels pretty good.

I wouldn’t think a background change would impact my mood this much 😶

I hope rest of the OS is as good.

My daughter (5) made this at home, she loves crafting things.

I told her it looks great and asked if she designed it by herself. She said yes, proudly.

I was expecting her to her say yes, but wasn’t expecting an actual design.

I hate it when the only compensation from delivery apps is the price of the missing item.

I mean of course I won’t be paying for the items I didn’t receive, that is not a compensation.

You should be giving me some extra credit for the inconvenience you caused when I have 1 burger missing.
