On this day in 1981, R.E.M. played The Station in Carrboro, North Carolina, for a fourth and final time. It had been the venue for their first gig outside of Georgia the previous year. It closed in 2023, having been in business since the 1970s.

It's not just the right combination of medication; I am so proud of myself of how I handle bad situations these days.
