Yea to me it’s worrying - they should be getting trounced - all this will take is some random worldwide economic upturn to help some conditions here & they will point to that & say see it’s working. Mcnulty for an injection of energy for me.

too many things for the media to challenge em on & they get overwhelmed but yea media needs to be more pointed, adept and prepared and overall be much better at holding these clowns to account especially over the next yr in build up to election

The Irish government has released a report on the benefits of the pilot for a Basic Income for the Arts, and in a total shocker, it seems like it was good for the country as well as the artists.

feels like a very significant moment there have been so many heinous outrages but this seems like direct intervention by an authoritarian govt to stop a broadcaster speaking their mind which has all kinds of ramifications and probably explains the utterly enfeebled & pretty bereft state of media
