So disturbing. Genuinely heart wrenching. The whole courtroom was heavy.
More video. Hard to make out anything at first. Eventually you can hear a girl screaming. Male police officer says you're under arrest. Police are yelling get back. After a while you hear a girl crying.

I was not there that day and I have now heard the soul wrenching screams of a 17 year old being torn from her mother three times today and I am fighting tears in the court room.
There have been so many women in the court room today that we're on Eureka St last year when ICE kidnapped a member of our community. They have had to rewatch this horrific footage over and over. One mother had to leave because she was sobbing. For what purpose?

Now both officers have testified that they were responding to calls that ICE were being surrounded and "needed help" here at @etelhaxhiaj.bsky.social trial. This has been the opposite of public statements up until now.

People were approaching Hanlon and asking him to intervene. Says the federal agents had badges. Says they had a woman in custody. He recognized one or two ATF agents who were also there.

"unfortunately had to handcuff a 17 year old" and they very explicitly say it's not about what ICE was doing but what they don't say is that 17 year old was body slammed on the ground by WPD and has been torn from her family.
Says police had to detain a 17 year old. Haxhiaj objected to the arrest and put her hands on McGurk again, bumped into another officer, was interfering.

"ICE called the police to help them and they showed up to help ICE" is a real admission of a thing they've been saying didn't happen for months.
Says onlookers showed up on street and ICE was "outnumbered and surrounded," called Worcester PD to "keep the peace and make sure no one gets hurt."

Gagne is doing the opening guy the DA. Says it was a "difficult day" when ICE arrested a person in Worcester. Says there won't be much evidence about what ICE did, whether they had a warrant.
