I know that there is just so much going on in every direction, but it does really feel like we've reached a point of class divide where the people making Big Money Decisions are an alien species who can't imagine what the rest of us are thinking at any point.

This was the lingering question I had from yesterday. The facilitation of ICE activity by WPD and the ongoing misinformation they were giving the public was excused in testimony over and over.
If it happened today - what would our police have done? How would they take our side. How would they help get ICE out? I hope that is the planning that is happening. ICE created horror on Eureka St. community responded w little information and wanting to protect our immigrant community. 😔

My MIL gave me a very fancy sarafina holiday sampler for Hannukah in an elaborate 8 nights box. It was so large, I just took the little sampler baggies out. Fast forward to now I have a bag of baggies of candy with no info... anyway I accidentally had a chocolate covered espresso bean at midnight.

I was not there that day and I have now heard the soul wrenching screams of a 17 year old being torn from her mother three times today and I am fighting tears in the court room.
There have been so many women in the court room today that we're on Eureka St last year when ICE kidnapped a member of our community. They have had to rewatch this horrific footage over and over. One mother had to leave because she was sobbing. For what purpose?
