How to represent genomes in 3D?

In this paper (and video), we propose Geometric Diagrams of Genomes (GDG)—a visual grammar that aims at emulating the effect ribbon diagrams (Richardson et al 1981) had in protein structural biology. Time will tell.😅

The proposed budget slashes NIH by ~40%, devastating medical research, clinical trials, treatment breakthroughs—life-saving work.

Thousands of lives at risk for tax cuts for the rich? NO THANKS.

Tell your senators to oppose the cuts HERE:

Will the Senate Save NIH?
Rescuing biomedical research is every bit as important as saving Medicaid.

Our new preprint is out on bioRxiv! We show that restoring rigidity sensing via Tpm2.1 is not enough to trigger anoikis in cancer cells, thanks to compensatory AKT signaling and cell–cell adhesion.
