I do my best and -local stores for groceries, books, gifts and clothes (more difficult, especially for men, very few options even in LA)
There has never been a better time to go out of your way to make an extra effort to shop at family-owned small businesses buying local products whenever possible, avoiding chains, online behemoths, and big corporations whenever you are able.

i will say that we have never experienced anything like an administration trying to essentially freeze the activities of the entire federal government while making a series of illegal power grabs. genuinely unclear to me what kind of response, if any, these guys are generating against them
