In fact I'd say that the JP Morgan side is about *how* the money moves, and the Israeli intel/diplomatic work is the *why* that money moves, and the *why* is slightly more important than the *how* to everybody except law enforcement, journalists and academics

There is nothing inherently better about rolling 2d6 vs a d12, rolling over or under a stat for a skill check, or using tokens.
