I ultimately agree with nearly every assertion in this article EXCEPT the fact that it compares Q4 ratings to Q1 ratings. Q1 avoids the holidays, which tend to air sports earlier and kills off lead-in ratings for news. Also, her big swings to do something new have been met with giant shrugs

I don't think that actually has much to do with depression, in a medical sense. Depressed people aren't fixated on guilt over things they've done or feel. Guilt or even anxiety are not the main drivers of that disorder. It is for narcissistic personality disorder, though!
