The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

One of the things I hear with some younger trans people I know is they feel, "I'm gonna get this surgery, and I'm gonna learn that way of speaking, and I'm gonna be done." You're never done. If you're a straight, cisgender person, you're never done. Things are always happening that have the potential to change you. So all I am today is not who I'm gonna be tomorrow, because of the things that happened to me today and later tonight. People forget that. "Oh, after I transition, I'm gonna be through." Well, good luck with that. 'Cause if you're through, then it's time to leave, you know, and I don't wanna go anywhere yet.
I'm in my seventies. Why didn't I stop? Number one is community. My gurls. I've had moments of thinking about stopping, but I didn't. I made sure I would step back, reju- venate myself, and then got back out there, and that's how you make a way. Our stories are not all the same, but the destination is: to get some place where we have some peace and harmony, and we can be at ease with ourselves and the people around us. You make the best of it all and hope you can help make it a little better for the gurl after you.

a pretty, chubby trans girl walks through a living room in a full-body rubber costume of the Pokemon shinx. Only her head is left uncovered, and she holds the large smiling costume head under her arm. Her girlfriend calls out from the couch:

"Aw! Are we getting a visit from Lulu?"

the shinx-coated girl replies: "she's been pawing at me to come out allll workday".

"You get the plug in yet?"

"Every step is a boxing glove to our poor prostate. How does she SLEEP with this thing?" the shinx exclaims, incredulously.

The shinx girl leans against a door frame, panting, and feeling herself up with the large costume paws. She asks to her partner, leaning against the opposite wall:

"you okay taking care of her again for a few days? Keeping her out of trouble, walking her, fisting her... that kind of thing?"

"Happy to," her girlfriend remarks with an aloof smile. "I'll get the harness and pet bed out, as soon as I'm done with Celeste."

Shinx girl's girlfriend gives her a little kiss on the cheek, asking "Anything else I should know before you sink off and rest?"

But shinx girl is already starting to lower the large-eared costume head over her own, and it's clearly having an effect on her. She mumbles "y-you sh-- shhnn-- sshinxx" and her girlfriend giggles in response. Too late! Lulu the rubber shinx has bubbled to the surface.

in a final, wide picture, Lulu is on all fours, crawling into the waiting arms of her girlfriend. Her tail is wagging happily, and she's nuzzling her girlfriend affectionately.

"Hiii Lulu!! Pfttt, sweet toy! So happy to see me, with those pretty printed-on eyes... I missed you!! Now let's go get maddie's discord status updated, shall we?"

The girl is sleeping, and the rubber shinx is awake and eager to play!!
