Btw these are normal and they are Christian as well, that's the point. One of the oldest traditions both for America and Judeo Christians is the town jubilee. Anyone who couldn't pick up on the sarcasm doesn't know that these are a massive bop and people should join their city parties more often.

So the issue with ai is entirely cultural and governmental. Basically the USA and Canada need to git gud.

Because again bringing up China. They still have jobs. It's just now instead of heavy manual labour in sweatshops they're all working high end tech jobs or far safer assembling jobs with work being more of a "Just do your tasks however you can quickly." So ai allows them to relax and still get paid.

There's also the fact most newer artists who claim to be against ai are secretly using it in the background. They pretend to care because it's popular. But they don't actually care. The real issue is the jobs market. Which is an attitude change that employers and governments need to have. Not ai.

As for art. In reality it doesn't harm the artist at all long term. Artists still make money for their talents. Less sure. And for some that's leading to terrifying consequences. But for most its just like "ok do I buy that new shiny or the expensive coffee."

So the issue you have there is that you can't cool those pcs effectively or run them either without massive amounts of electricity. And so you need massive clean energy innovations to tip the scale. This is why China has a cleaner environment than ever despite running similar ais. Clean energy.

But the environmental issues have zero to do with ai. They exist because a 100,000 pc server rack with the best hardware money can buy is super expensive to run and requires a high energy input. If you burn 100,000 times the coal as the average family it doesn't matter what you do with it.

Nevermind the fact that cloud computing is always toxic to the environment and while the ai field made thins worse by making more need for server racks. It did not change the fact that tesla powered server racks were always environmentally problematic.

Genai is the assisting tool doing medical breakthroughs, weather predictions etc. The particular ai you hate is llm gpts and diffusion gpts. You hate 2 generative algorithms because of how they're trained and you think server racks for cloud computing are evil only when they do ai training.

G4 aired a giantess video game from Japan on x-play and I thought it looked cool and so I looked up the name and then the recommended tab was filled with gts crush and vore. I became a furry because I found the anthro maws hotter.
