✨ Hi, I’m Hannah! ✨

I’m 32, a Content Creator & Disability Rights Advocate from the West Midlands.

On my blog, I talk about life in my 30's—from books to my journey with IBD.

I'm a proud ostomate 💜 welcoming Stitch in 2020.

Thanks for stopping by—can’t wait to connect with you! 😊
Only managed two reads in May, both rocking that red-and-black cover vibe 👀🔥

A theme I definitely would’ve leaned into more if the month hadn’t completely run away from me. And June? Yep, slipping through my fingers too. Sorry this is going up so late.

Apologies this wrap-up is a little late — I honestly wasn’t expecting such a good reading month! 😅

Now I’ve got a mountain of reviews to write, but let’s dive right in... 📚✨

Three years ago, I hit publish on a blog post called "Starting My Life at 30" — a personal reflection on having my second stoma surgery.

It marked a new chapter, but I remember hesitating to celebrate it publicly... because of the hate I’d seen online.

🔪📚 'Murder' May was the perfect pick for this month's Book Bingo! With so many genres to dive into—from cosy mysteries and chilling true crime to dark, twisty horror—there's something for every mood. 🖤

February feels like a lifetime ago now—and it was such a good reading month! 🥰 I didn’t get a chance to post a proper wrap-up because I’ve been under the weather (bug after bug 😩) and also switched website hosts after a few tech hiccups.

Binged the first season of My Happy Marriage on Netflix and it has all the feels 😭🥰

Does anyone know if the series is a close adaptation of the manga? 👀 possibly more to add to my collection!

April’s theme? Anything Goes! 🌸📚 A new season, a new quarter (if you track your stats 👀), and the perfect time to shake up your TBR. Let’s revisit those reading goals and have some fun!

🎯 How it works:
✔️ Pick a book for each prompt.
✔️ Aim for a full house or complete as many prompts as you can!

When picking a theme for March, I had a few ideas in mind. At first, I planned to post just one bingo board, but since one of the themes is quite niche, I decided—why not make two? More choices, more books, more fun! Which board will you be tackling first? 🤩

Red carpet fashion in 2025 has been interesting to say the least… and last night’s SAG Awards only added to the mystery.

What is actually going on with red carpet style this year?! 👀

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Uhoh. Jeff's throwing a tantrum. He wants better discounts from them.

You can still get Bloomsbury books from Bert's, though.
Amazon UK has said that it will cease selling Bloomsbury’s print and e-books from midnight on 23rd January, saying negotiations between the giant retailer and the publisher had broken down 👇 #BookSky
