if you still have a FB account - and let's be real, gang, most of us do - take my advice and request your data from it. it's not a hugely complicated process, and then you have all your photos etc. in case *barely a week later* you get locked out of your account.

trying to distract myself a bit and just saw a 'hack' for making mashed potatoes
1. put a cooling rack over a bowl
2. cut a microwaved potato in half
3. hold the potato in a kitchen towel or wear oven mitts
4. shove the frigging thing down through the mesh
i do not understand the point here

When I was learning to drive the idea that vehicles would have proximity alarms and backup cameras and somehow we'd still be running over pedestrians would have sounded insane

Spicy pony nipped me today because I was standing a bit too close to the business end when another volunteer tightened his girth
Getting bitten has been a big fear, and now it's happened
And I survived
I did also get to work with a very gentle and cuddly draft mare which was super soothing

gingersnaps, christmas cracker candy, cheese ball and cream cheese cherry poundcake are all made. most now go in the freezer. the gingersnaps are decoy cookies to keep them from eating everything else.

Those of us who live here are incredibly frustrated an hour in because of all the dipshits parking illegally so they don't have to walk more than half a block.
