For me driving isn't an option because there's no parking either

I just hate the smug virtue signaling of "yeah well just bike then", makes me immediately defensive

More vehicles on the road, definitely more passengers, fewer drivers I think, more buses that don't show up, and not enough accordion buses on regularly busy routes

I haven't seen one on my route home in months, used to get them at least once or twice a week

I'm a fat middle aged woman and the entire route home for me is uphill and I haven't ridden a bike with any regularity in 30 years but suuuure I'll just hop on up there and commute through rush hour traffic, what on earth could go wrong!

(And you're right about the weather)

Getting in to school is generally ok I think. It's trying to get home again that's the mess. His last class ends at 530pm so he's right in it. Today there were three 1s, all in a row, and all full to the brim.

I swear to God bike people, you do you and I support building better bike infrastructure and all that but every time I post about how the transit system is enfuckulated someone tells me to start biking and just... stop

I know bikes exist

The driver keeps letting more people on! Somehow! It's like a fuckin mosh pit up in here! He's also now started honking at traffic so like... tell my family I love them because I think I'm gonna die
