UK exports also grew. By 0.89%.

That's the total. Goods exports were lower in real terms in 2024 than in 2014.

So let me get this straight: they wanted Brexit because that way they could control their borders, and yet they wish to deny others ti control their own borders, at least as far as it concerns the Brits? Am I understanding this correctly?

They are *very* opposed to overstayers in the UK, but want Britons - because they're British - to be given a bye in Spain and elsewhere in Europe.

This fits with the exceptionalists who argue that Britons should have special treatment and not have to follow the European border code.
