the last thing i’ll say about the hanger title discourse is i don’t think people are upset that he wasn’t champion for 3 years or mad because he should never lose. they just wanted a story while he was champion before the loss that was as compelling as the ones told when he’s chasing the title.

Way too many smarks out there trying to tell others how to feel about things. Sure, there's a plan. Sure, a program with Swerve will be good. It doesn't change the fact that people loved Hanger as champ and him losing to a transitional champ on a rematch sucked.
