I mean - character limit makes this tough - that your response here is tone deaf. Every day the federal workers don’t get paid, hundreds of thousands of people are being badly hurt and when the back pay arrives it will be too late for many of them.

I think she's doing the John McCain thing, where she figured out that going against the party while framing it in Republican terms and "being reasonable" gets her attention from all over and praise from "the other side" and the media and it feels good to her.

The same "liberals" and "allies" I see who defend not giving up their (admittedly tasty) chicken sandwiches in solidarity are the first folks I hear talking about moving when "too many of THOSE people are moving in and ruining the schools".

People are desperate for "their side" to win. Rooting for an entire promotion to "beat" another is wild to me, like do football fans brag to baseball fans how many more people watch NFL? Of course not, that's silly. Be a fan of the wrestlers, not the promotion.

I put it on my V-Rod because with the foot & pipe placement, it was easy to accidentally rest your heel on the pipes, and the wrap helped make that a little less of a disaster. Gave the bike to my son, his second day on it, same thing happened to him after 2 miles lolol

I've never heard this. Then again, I remember when we used to "home in" on things and not "hone in" on them, which was this incredibly rapid and sudden shift in the last 10 or so years. Language mutates super fast now.

When I think of solo dev/small team projects, you *cannot* be mission critical, and preferably it's as close to a single-button app as possible. Support scales with sales, and will sink a small company since it isn't a revenue generator and should not be a revenue generator.

Very, VERY tone deaf. In a country where most folks can't handle a $400 emergency without borrowing, how long do you think these folks can go without pay? When you can get evicted 5 days after rent's past due in much of the US, this is ruinous to folks, back pay or no back pay.
