3)forgot to say was triaged and seeing a doctor within an hour again because the sickest go first. My cost out of pocket was $25-$4.65 for the prescription thanks to my provincial Pharmacare plan and $20 for gas. Excellent care providers at both facilities and was treated so well

2) Had surgery on Monday. Spiked a fever again on Monday night. More IV penicillin. Still on Fluids. Released Tuesday. Tuesday into Wednesday spiked a fever again (102+). RN niece said something is hinky. Back to ER. Antibiotic resistant infection. More bloodwork. IV and such.

On Canadian healthcare: had a medical emergency on Sunday and went to local ER. Triaged and was seen be a doctor in under an hour. Had to be transferred to another hospital. Many bags of IV fluids, painkillers, penicillin, bloodwork, cT scans and the ambulance for the transfer
