@hankgreen.bsky.social you and others cite the de minimus rising from $250 to $800 as a factor in Temu and similar becoming popular but if almost nothing on those sites is even close to $250, then why would that matter?

Left an OpenAI API key in my repo so folks could play with embeddings. Set a $1 cap thinking, "What’s the worst that could happen?"

Three days later: MAXED OUT… on another model!

GitHub warned me about committing the key, but who are these thieves?

Last night showed how much fear runs through this country. Trump won, promising a better economy and safer America, but his focus on crime and inflation left its mark. My uncle, who worked nearly 30 years for the MTA, is now too afraid to set foot in NYC, even to see his beloved Mets. (1/3)
