Intro for newskis: I'm a Weird Old Lady and a giant nerd. I read a lot, I work in a library, I love horror and fantasy and science fiction, I knit and spin and I have approximate knowledge of many things.

I wrote a 3-5 page paper on Reconstruction for high school history - remembered it was due that morning; wrote it on the bus. Got an A. Didn't even have my book with me; whipped it out from memory.

Not sure that's a testament to my genius or a testament to the shittiness of my secondary education.

I have reached the point in #Starfield where you find a whole-ass camp full of clones of famous people. Most of them are douchebags. But Ada Lovelace & Amelia Earhart are lovely. (Once again, I’m pretty sure this has “Made for Harmonyfb” on the box.)

I'm not surprised - they haven't had anything new listed as being "on order" for a couple weeks now. At least it's our new fiscal year, so we're not stuck on a PO with them.

Go buy *really good* shoes. Like, nursing-professional-on-your-feet-all-day shoes. Seriously. Don't skimp on shoes, ever. Your back, knees, and ankles will thank you profusely.

So far, my favorite thing about "Starfield" is that one of your companions has a kid who LOOOOOOVES books, and you can pick up books on your travels and give them to her.

I swear, it's like Todd Howard said "What would Harmonyfb like in this game?" and then developed it just for me. #Books
