The coils tighten… ABC is owned by Disney, but many of the ABC affiliates are owned by Nexstar, a company out of TX, the Kimmel thing started with them. Nexstar Media Group CEO Perry A. Sook contributes to Republican political action committees and candidates. Possibly the root of this ABC problem.

The reason Charlie Kirk is being lionized by so many journalists is simple: he was very good at cultivating journalists and it seems a lot of journalists don't seem to understand the concept of being cultivated as a pet reporter in exchange for scoops or leads. They think he was their friend.

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man.

Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent.

We must condemn murder without sanitizing a man who built his empire on hate.
