I let my brainworms take control of me this weekend & made the big push to get to Trial Rank 60 in Duet Night Abyss. Over the past week, I unlocked Intron 6 Lady Nifle & the Embla Inflorescence bow and it's become my favorite way to play the game now.

I tell myself I can quit anytime...

Started & beat Birdcage in a single sitting. My fingers want to die after that final boss. I have a few qualms with the game, but I think it's overall incredible. Killer aesthetic & OST. Incredible props to the developers of it. Very tight, focused, and responsive experience.

Does anyone remember the Tales of Zestiria TV anime that randomly inserted drips of Berseria to market it or did I hallucinate that

Literally everyone: "Ok besides Xillia 2, Bandai Namco is totally working on remastering Abyss / Legendia next and we'll hear about it in a few months. Optimistically, maybe Destiny 2???"

Bandai Namco: "Lol. Lmao."

If there were a "most improved show" this season, it's SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes for me. I wasn't too hot on it after its first 3 episodes, but it definitely found its footing and has been consistently enjoyable and entertaining. I'm glad I didn't drop it when I seriously considered it early on.

THE FUCKING THING THAT HAPPENS AT THE BEGINNING OF CHAPTER 7 IN INAZUMA ELEVEN: VICTORY ROAD'S STORY MODE IS FREAKING AWESOME OH MY GOD

I'm doing my best to not spoil it. That was such a cool surprise.

I’m over 13 hours into Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road’s main story & just finished the 2nd Football Frontier match & not gonna lie,

Unmei (localized as Destin) is already one of my favorite main characters this year - easily top 5 at the moment. Top to bottom an incredible protagonist.

Akiba Lost in Weekly Famitsu No. 1923. This was initially revealed back in September & is an adventure game using live-action shots like 428: Shibuya Scramble. Developed by IzanagiGames in cooperation with Nippon Television Network Corporation & Nippon Television AX-ON. Coming in 2026.

I'm roughly 6 hours into Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's story mode and there's been barely any soccer gameplay, but it does such a good job slowly building up its core team members. A good chunk of it is because the main character himself is actually a really compelling figure. I... I kinda love it.

I wasn't convinced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's character creator was godlike until it gave you the option to specifically choose if you wanted to pop off your collar.

Endgame Duet Night Abyss is silly, stupid, and was absolutely worth it.
