Roy Lilley gets it. "A publicly funded service needs visible mechanisms for the public to be heard. Without that, trust declines and the sense of the NHS being ‘ours' diminishes." Read here: bit.ly/RoyLilley16Sep & sign the petition to save independent voice: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...

Great news in @yorkpress.bsky.social about a new diagnostics service at @ysteachingnhs.bsky.social: www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/2544537...

The #NHS10YearPlan will determine health services in England over the next decade.

If unpaid carers aren't identified, respected, and supported in this, the consequences will be felt in every hospital, clinic and community service.

Read our new report: https://go.carersuk.org/NHS-report
Two smiling men are seated in a hospital room, one in a hospital bed and the other in a chair. Text in the image reads: "44% of carers say the person they care for experienced an emergency admission or unplanned visit to hospital in the last 12 months." The logo for Carers UK is visible in the top right corner.

Thanks to everyone who has signed already. If you haven't yet, and you value independent voice in health and care, please click on the link and add your name. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73... #yourvoicematters #independencematters
Poster with text that says Protect the independence of local voices in health and care. Your voice matters - but it could be at risk. Plans are underway that could remove the only independent, statutory way for people to speak up about health and care services. When independence is lost, so is trust - and so is the power of communities to be heard. If you believe in protecting the right to give honest feedback without fear or favour, please sign the national petition calling for this decision to be reviewed. Scan the QR code or visit https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732993
