"Democracy Northland" will likely be behind this too - they've been distributing newsletters to letterboxes throughout Kaipara and Whangārei on a regular basis. Most of the content has an anti-Māori and anti-'woke' agenda. Check out their content: letterbox-nz.blogspot.com/search/label...

Say it louder for the people in the back! The biggest complainers always seem to be SA and UK immigrants too - strange.
Whangārei have just voted in 11 Pakeha councillors (of which 10 are male) out of 14 total. Two wahine councillors came through via the Māori ward votes. The majority have now voted to remove Māori Wards and so this lack of representation is going to look even more dire in future. Un (?) believable!
Mānawa Bay (shopping complex) 5 mins from airport has a foodcourt with heaps of delicious and ok priced options. Highly recommend the Vietnamese place :)

Oh, you are SO full of shit.

Where were you when Peters played a starring role in a co-ordinated campaign against Benjamin Doyle?

Where were you when Seymour joked about blowing up government departments, or mounted another online attack at yet another critic? #nzpol

I'd like to think what is happening in the world at present is fascism's last gasp, so stumbling across this video is just what I needed to hear.

Done - thanks for sharing the guide.
I notice the noise pollution all the time when I go out walking and have to up the volume on my podcast/music, esp when walking next to the road. Can't wait for it to be a non-issue in the future via more EVs and more bike lanes🤞

We need to tax wealth not work.

Why? Because usually no matter how hard you work, the compound interest on huge wealth grows much faster than your wages + the rich use this passive income to buy all the assets.

Someone made a game to show this:

It really makes me wonder how many people understand what "the economy" actually is. Especially when they believe National are better at managing it, but Labour are better at managing taxation, unemployment, household debt etc. Make it make sense...
I'm curious how much income tax has been lost as well with 2.5m fewer hours worked in 1 year. Surely it's in the Gov's best interest (via tax) to have more people employed and spending more?
Indeed! I work in the rehab sector and trust me, the vast majority of those injured would love to be 'back to normal' and back to work.
I just checked mine and got the same, even though I've never had a problem before. It did also say this though: "Are you on the unpublished roll?
You can’t search for your enrolment details online if you’re on the unpublished roll. This helps to keep your information secure..."
Um, I'm pretty sure we were all better off (as was the economy) a couple of years ago when butter, and in fact, all dairy, was cheaper
Isn't *this also a massive part of the problem.

*"'premium' butter as only option"
