I need to spend less time on FB. My thinking is that I unfriend everyone but closest friends and family there, make a public post saying that they can follow me here or my other account or both, and ONLY use FB for close friends/family.

My one concern on this is I hate posting photos publicly.

Musing on whether I should start writing again. About music, arts, culture, tourism, silly science stuff? Who knows. I'm a polymath who wanted to major in everything and I came quite close to four different minors by the time I graduated from college with an English degree.

I'm trying to figure out whether Gavin Newsom is trying to be Pete Buttigieg on Fox, podcast edition, or the John Fetterman of California. But what I'm seeing as reaction from my trans friends really making me feel like I can't suss it out one way or the other and I should trust them and hard pass.

If we're connected on FB, please stop by my page and engage with my last two posts. I'm suspecting they are suppressed.

Defeating the authoritarian threat demands that we rise to the challenge of solidarity and refuse to bend to efforts to break apart our coalition by attacking our most vulnerable allies. Trans and nonbinary Americans — and our democracy — depend on it.

@kaine.senate.gov - why do I keep seeing your "yes" on the Trump cabinet picks? This is not a "pick your battles" moment.

Been struggling with self esteem lately because of some things in my life when I got this unlooked for message from a former staffer of mine at my last job.

Sometimes you think you're not making a difference, but you are.

FAA says a military helicopter collided with the American Airlines passenger jet from Wichita near DCA.

There must be immediate hearings on how the federal government/Department of Defense allowed this to happen and if removal of safety protocols and recent personnel changes led to this incident.

Today, the Senate of #Virginia passed constitutional amendments for voting rights, reproductive rights and marriage equality.

The first two passed on partyline votes; the latter, on a bipartisan 24-15 vote.
