One of my least favourite things of the current level of capitalism, is that I somehow still get ads - even when I'm paying..
How come we've just accepted that companies are allowed to get both ad revenue and subscription fee? While I get less for my money?

Thank you, Meta! Your latest "annoying" attempt to make me give up my data by freezing my feed and forcing a 4-second ad break was the cure I needed to spend less time on the apps! It's like having someone asking me, "Is this really worth your time?" every x minutes. Turns out it's not.

I just got home from watching #superman, and I'm feeling so giddy!! This whole movie just felt like a big hug, and I got the same feeling I get when I read a really good comic! The one that only happens when the writer(s) just seem to see and understand the character the same way you do!

I'm looking for a good course on #CSSlayouts. I am decent at #CSS but I'd like to understand and really master layouts. By layouts I mean flex, CSS grid, subgrid, container queries etc. Anyone got any recommendations for me?

Flow was a visually stunning movie, that succeeds in communicating "dialog", and emotions solely through expressions and animal sounds! It was also a terrible movie choice for the first night away from my cat..

I'm like 6 seasons into #therookie and I still can't figure out if Bailey is a firefighter or a paramedic. Her uniform says "Fire", but she drives an ambulance.. I know the US is behind on everything healthcare, but it can't be that bad? ..right? 😬

Got 2 shelves showing off some of my favourite comic book covers in my living room. Walked by it today and realised I've "accidentally" built a Jenny Frison shrine. I hope she knows how talented she is, because chef's kiss!

One of the disadvantages of being left-handed, which I rarely hear anyone talk about, is how most mugs are printed so the pattern is only visible outwards if you're right-handed.

Clayface went from playing James Gunn's chair to getting a cameo in #CreatureCommandos and a movie. I hope they reference it in the upcoming Harley Quinn season. Know he's a great "ActOor!" but to quote King Shark: "This is going to affect the group dynamic in a messy and complicated manner."
