I brought Betty's Blanket to Inishkeel Island across the sand at low tide, a trip many have done for centuries. I laid it on the altar of St Connell's Church and on the grass overlooking the beach, before taking it back to the mainland.

The people of Catalunya are very kind. The owner of a bakery we had been in earlier saw us passing as she was closing and ran out to give us a bag of cupcakes and some amazing carrot cake.
