Snapshot is a deliciously juicy and tropical Session IPA bursting with notes of mango and peach with a splash of Canon QL or something..

I was only on it for about 6 months. Mainly so my wife could flood me with cat shorts.
The biggest time suck was me watching machining videos, hot metal or stuff being crunched up in recycling units.
Never used it for film photos, though there did seem to be some really good stuff on there.
Seems so long ago, but not at the same time. Great little project / zine. A lot of activity during that time from the twitter film community, and I was and still am grateful for the zines, challenges, general interaction. Really gave me something to focus on.
If you've got a half decent copy of the LLL Elcan, then an actual v3 or 4 50 Summi isn't going to blow your balls off tbh. But it will split your debit card in two. What's written up front might give a bit more pride of ownership, but that's it. Good copies of any of them are good enough.
I've heard somewhere else that it's nasty stuff, and let's face it, very few probably bottle old dev up for responsible disposal. I don't, but I would with that stuff, which is why I can't be bothered trying it.
But as an easy no fuss dev that's not horrible, Ilfotech HC.

I didn't know there were any over here. Apparently, we commandeered it from your side of the pond back in 2004. Lives at Duxford.
Cool, this PBY Catalina just rumbled over very low and very slow.
Best angle of the Pug GTi!
My old B reg one still pops up in dreams sometimes, like I parked it round the corner and forgot all about it for years and its like being reunited with an old friend.
Blow-Up. I watched it as a kid with my mum in the 80s and never seen it since. I'm sure there is a scene where he is flipping a 50 pence piece over his fingers that stuck with me. Maybe it's another film, its been so long. Either way, I've never been able to do that.
Very nice! I was relieved of my Submariner in 2014 by 3 street urchins (one with a fairbairn/sykes fighting knife) in Westferry. Fair trade considering potential outcomes.
Insurance coughed up, replaced it with this homage. Its great, bit battered, even took it diving in Mexico. It will see me out.
Nice! Even the lens bit is almost 'optical'.
I've only had a deep fried Marathon bar (I dont recognise its newer naming) and it was amazing.
Kitbashing! 👌
I was always a Hawker Typhoon chap over the Spitfire. And the Westland Lysander was a favourite, too. I actually had an 88 inch span RC Lysander with working slats n flaps, but boy was it a handful to fly. Didn't translate well as a model flyer.
Yeah, threw me as well. Focke Wulf/butcher birds normally have that big old radial motor. But the model has the wide landing gear. 109's have right piddly little narrow landing gear.
Unbelievable, even film clips have had their nuts chopped off. Is one of the pair still weighted?
Bet that looked right sus that handover. Things passing from one chaps knapsack to another chaps knapsack. Did it all furtive like as well 😆
I meant to type Billingham, but my thumbs insisted on Billibob. And now we're at Billy with a Bong.
Billibob bags are fly fishing / tackle bags appropriated by photographers. FACT! 😆
200 normally but I scan, not wet printing. I'm sure I tried it at 800 on one of the #FP4PARTY and it took it pretty well.
Don't mind it on 800T, as that's what that stuff is for. To halate, and maybe make things look slightly movie like and crunchy.
Guess I'll keep my 3 remaining boxes of MK1 Phoenix Rouge, will be worth milyons one day.
Lots of shit in the US is backwards. In 2019, I settled a lunch bill in a NYC hotel, and they brought out one of those ancient crunchy roller things that crushes carbon paper against a card. No chip n pin. Decent place as well. 3 months later the $350 odd came out of my account.
Dark ages..

But wide open where the interesting weirdness lives and what sets all these lenses apart. I say that but rarely ponce about with Bokeh with any real conviction. Mostly use wider lens hole for a bit of separation on family portraits.
Sometimes I like a dalliance with 2.8 or 3.5. At f8 an Elcan looks just like a Zeiss, cron or anything else.
Yeah, I've learned that RF are not always an exact science with lens focus shift at certain f stops at anything under 2.5 meters. Wider lenses are fine, but I see it with some 50s. I'd never bother with any lens faster than f2 unless I had a digital M, which I dont.
