The Rip was a good movie that could have been a great movie with a different, more ruthless, ending. Felt like a hollywoodized hong konger crime film, which lets it down in the final act.

Our tree has rotten roots. Withered leaves, dead branches. But its still trying to grow. Even though it can’t bear fruit, it keeps trying. But its limits are set, they were set before it even started. Might as well chop it down.
