The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

Former Republican Senator Joe McCarthy (b1908-d1957) is nodding his head in approval. He's probably flattered that his methods during the Second Red Scare have been dusted off in 2025 and equally horrified that roughly 68 years later, our country is now embracing Russia.

I am grateful for many things, but the thing I would be most grateful for is the one thing that eludes me: an inexpensive and easy trick for keeping the corners of fitted sheets from eating up all the other items that share the dryer cycle with them.

You know that feeling you get when you've been working on a skill for over a year, and then one day it just clicks? I'd like to bottle that feeling and drink from it whenever I'm convinced I can't do anything right.
