I love Nintendo games and have a gaggle of children to play them with. That said I can't afford anything right now so it's a moot point for me. I got the invite to buy a Switch 2 but couldn't. It was very frustrating.

When I was a teen I got really mad at the Jerry Lewis telethon because there was a stand-up that was being met with polite applause instead of laughter. It felt ableist to me long before I knew the term. I wasn't articulate enough and everyone around me got upset.

My line is basically when not acting feels more dangerous than what would happen if I wasn't there for my children. It feels cowardly and I am probably right where the government wants me. My undying gratitude to those that have the courage and conviction to act 🖤

As a trans person in 2025 I look around and think "okay now I see why the jewish people didn't fight back more in Germany." You're hoping things won't go that bad and try to weather the storm. At least if they come for me, I won't be surprised.

I've gone through the opposite. I've been grabbing an extra can of soda and eating snacks like I have to enjoy life now while I still can. I have to get back to healthy.
