An economics thing I've never understood:
Investment is seen as a sign of confidence in the thing receiving the money.
So why are cuts to gov investment in people not seen as a lack of confidence in people?
Your government cuts your services because they think you ain't shit. Aren't you insulted?

I really appreciate Old Navy's "No Rush" shipping option. Yeah absolutely I don't need 3 PJ sets for my toddler delivered to me in 2 days bc you feel you need to compete with Amazon or whatever - your workers can take their time. I wish more websites had this option.
