I agree. Legacy has a pretty terrible story & Sam is essentially just a personalityleas Player Character. But it has interesting philosophical ideas, and succeeds very well at creating moods.

Ive been stewing on that actually. Does Tron need a story? Can it exist successfully as just an audio/video experience? Music doesn't necessarily need to tell a good story to be moving. Neither do other art forms like dance, painting, sculpture. Is telling a story inherently necessary for a movie?

Marvel Zombies is pretty blah. Also, I'm incredibly over Red Guardian behaving like a goddamn cartoon character.

I mean, theyre all cartoons, yeah, but he acts like a cartoon cartoon. There's nothing grounded about him compared to anyone else in the show.
