Just finished Lownie’s book ‘Entitled’. Strange to think that such a long story of Andrew and Ferguson’s staggering avarice, greed, incompetence, childishness, corruption and entitled insouciance can become boring. He should have been sussed well before Epstein. The late queen comes out badly too.

America’s infrastructure has been crumbling for years and still is, while the rich gits bleed it dry. Refineries that can only process thick, heavy crude, is why Trump wants Venezuela oil.

Surely the Beeb would be better fighting Trump on the clear grounds that, although edited, he said it and the programme accurately reflects the tone and intent of that rambling tirade. If, indeed, the case even falls within jurisdiction.

The self-regarding Welby had to resign in disgrace. His smug-faced successor seems to be mired in similar safeguarding ‘errors’. Time to disestablish the silly institution and, for sure, get the bishops out of the Upper Chamber.
