tried a bunch of different basses at a music store today
there was an Epiphone EB-0 and it looks 🤘 with that SG design but it had near-unusably bad EMI problems and it sounded … not all that great. really wanted to love it but couldn't
there was also a Yamaha i kinda liked…

oh man i love psychiatry. because we probably have bipolar type ii they decide to prescribe us a drug that supposedly would help us avoid a psychotic episode if we're worried things are getting bad

there's all the usual reasons that we don't use generative AI for anything, but there's one more: frankly, cognitive decline is a terrifying thing that it always feels like we are sleepwalking into, and if we let ourselves rely on the bots we will surely lose our sharpness faster

It's so hard making this kind of music for clients when so much of it basically parodied itself in this era by virtue of being the default production music of the day lol. I believe ASCII was using library music for some of this stuff at the time as well?
