I saw a post that basically said, "people who read in public are being performative" and I'm so confused??? some people apparently have never read on a train? or on a bench while waiting for a friend?? for the simple reason of wanting to enjoy a book in your downtime??

for 4 days straight, we had almost a dozen industrial dehumidifiers and fans running 24/7 because of a sudden flooding in our kitchen / dining area. they were finally removed today!!!
