I don’t know what makes me more sad: That the president of the United States of America wrote what he did about the savage killing of a beloved private citizen, or that what he wrote is entirely consonant with what I’ve come to expect from him.

Since the week this president was sworn-in I’ve tracked the price of the same seven items at the same grocery (Publix at 13th and 39th, Gainesville) nearly every week. As of yesterday (11/21) that basket of groceries costs 8.81% more than it did on 1/20.

Don’t forget that this guy whose name appears in all those emails BULLDOZED THE EAST WING OF THE WHITE HOUSE. Illegally. Because he wanted to. (And exposed everyone working at and around the building to asbestos dust in the process.)

Don’t expect anything about Epstein to be the very end of Trump/MAGA. It will peel off a significant portion of devotees, but the organizing ethic of “Owning the Libs” isn’t going anywhere.
