This black-and-white Holga photograph features industrial meat hooks with attached pulleys. This equipment is usually found in slaughterhouses, meatpacking plants, or large butcher shops to lift, move, and hang large animal carcasses during processing. These hooks were scattered across the sidewalks of the Meatpacking District. If you visited very early in the morning, you would see dead animals hanging there. I think Tesla is in there now. Fitting.

This black and white Holga photo features two of my photographer friends, taken years ago. KC Keats is actively capturing a shot of me, while Thatcher Keats stands next to her, holding a camera. All three of us were there shooting a wedding. I was the "C" shooter, as I had the Holga. Karen was "A" and Thatcher was"B". I've always loved this photo for several reasons. 1. Photographers are rarely all captured together. We don't usually congregate with our cameras. We are either on or off. 2. At some point, we all do wedding work. 3. But the one thing that always stood out is that the camera lens on Karen's camera looks like her eye.

This is a black-and-white photograph of Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum in Cincinnati Ohio The scene is dominated by a large, gnarled tree with a thick, winding branch extending low to the ground. Numerous gravestones and monuments of varying sizes and designs are scattered throughout the grassy, leaf-strewn landscape. Both of my parents are buried here. I shot this after my mother's funeral.

This black-and-white cellphone photograph shows the George Clinton Kingston–Rhinecliff Bridge. The bridge is a continuous under-deck truss toll bridge that carries New York State Route 199 across the Hudson River, located north of the City of Kingston and the hamlet of Rhinecliff. It was opened to traffic on February 2, 1957, as a two-lane bridge (one lane in each direction), although it was not fully completed at the time. The formal opening took place on May 11, 1957. The original construction cost was $17.5 million.

This black and white 35 mm photograph features Leslie and Jerry's new baby. Jerry is sitting on the kitchen counter, while Leslie is positioned to the right of him at the kitchen table. Nicki, my then-girlfriend, is holding Leslie's baby. Leslie and Nicki grew up together in West Virginia. This photo was taken approximately four months before Jerry passed away; he was electrocuted while putting a new roof on a neighbor's house. Leslie became a widow before the age of 27.
