I was born in the 60s and, although eventually diagnosed, my dyslexia & dysgraphia earned me the R word by every adult in my life. My exceptional math ability was considered savant. We didn’t have support for students like me. We can’t go back there! I support Alberta teachers!!!

Every time I attend an online discussion about ADAP the fear, anger & hopelessness are overwhelming. It will affect all of us. 77,000 disabled Albertans no longer housed, hungry & worse will impact the entire province. Actions do have consequences!

AISH says no transport to GP for cancer care until I furnish them with paperwork that doesn’t exist.

No GP visit, no biopsy. No med care. Will cut food. I’m not extravagant. Starvation I can handle. Dying from cancer…not so much.
