I play fantasy football, and I don't have Jalen Hurts. But I wonder if he just threw a pick AND lost a fumble on the same play. Can't believe it took several attempts to scoop it up and run before someone decided to fall on the ball.

That was a good series. Heartbreaking for the #BlueJays as they were close several times and I think they outplayed the #Dodgers in some regard, but sometimes things go your way. Glad it was a good series and not a victory lap.

Nice win by the #BlueJays. It's still anyone's series given the quality of both teams, but Toronto does have the advantage at home. #Dodgers.

Trey Ye-bloody-savage...rookie sensation...Cinderella story... #BlueJays

The series has turned out better (thus far) than I thought. I couldn't endure the 18 innings last night, so tonight's game was a relief. Great #BlueJays win. Back to Toronto.

JFC...someone take his phone from him. I remember those "commies" hiding US embassy staff during the Iranian revolution (likely saving their lives).
This timeline is broken beyond repair

One of the more exciting #Longhorn games I've seen in a while. The offense looked lackluster in the first half and only woke up when they were down 17 in the second half. Arch was hurt in OT, but they managed to pull it off. Sark should be commended on keeping the team engaged. Nice win.

That was a great game to end a great series. #Mariners vs. #BlueJays. Bummer a team has to go home. Hopefully, we'll have a great World Series.

At the very least, Cal Raleigh makes the them the team of "density".

Absolutely! I’ve used that phrase at work several times. 😂

"Scuse me Egon? You said crossing the streams was bad!"

"There's definitely a VERY SLIM chance we'll survive."

One of my all-time favorite quotable movies.

After last week's loss to Florida, I wasn't expecting much from the #Longhorns this week against OU; definitely didn't expect a 23-6 defensive pounding against a decent (and undefeated) #Sooners team. The offensive stats weren't gaudy, but the defense and special teams were incredible. Great win.

On the 575th pitch!

What. A. Game.

Finally! After the first two games of this series (in which the #Mariners won), I didn't think the #Tigers would win a game. Amazing finale, but I think the #BlueJays will probably have the advantage once the euphoria wears off. Great game. Glad the #Mariners get to have some post-season success.

As the game wears on, I wonder how much strain this will put on the winner's rotation given they have to play on Sunday. Starters are being pulled to try to close out this pitcher's duel. #Tigers vs. #Mariners.

Watching this #Tigers vs. #Mariners game (now going to the 14th inning with no ghost runners). I can't believe how the Tigers keep getting out of jams like they have. I also feel for the Seattle fans (the camera man is picking out some great shots) being on the edge of their seats.

6/ For this postseason...I'll just watch former #Astros greats like Bregman, Springer, and Tuck perform for their teams. Not sure I'm rooting for any team in particular, but I'd love those guys do well. /fin

5/ I am somewhat more optimistic about next season. Statistically, I can't imagine another season of injuries and back luck that the #Astros faced this season. Cam should be a little more seasoned and it's possible Dana Brown can find some deals that make the team better in 2026.

4/ For those calling for replacing Dana Brown and Joe Espada...maybe give it another season. Both were being mentioned as possible GM and Manager of the year as late as August because of how they kept things together. #Astros

3/ The offseason additions did reasonably well (Christian Walker was only meh) and the pitching staff pieced things together. Pena and Jake were on fire while providing great defense. Then the wheels kinda came off.

2/ I wasn't that optimistic that the #Astros would make the playoffs when the season started. They lost Bregman & Tucker as well as some question marks in the outfield. The pitching staff was already depleted then.

1/ Re: the #Astros elimination from postseason play in the last few days of the season. I've been a fan for quite some time and while I'm bummed they didn't make it, it's not terribly surprising. The injuries to the pitching staff and the starting lineup were too much to overcome.

The hits just keep on coming. #Astros

Hoping that his hamstring can make it another month or so. The #Astros injuries have been insane this season.

TIL that there are a remarkable number of rifle/sniper experts on this purportedly left leaning social media platform (in the comments, that is). I don't know if the Kirk shooter was an expert shot (or not), but I do find it interesting/weird that he or she was able to slip away and blend in.
Given the distance between the shooter and Charlie Kirk (estimated to be around 200 yards) and the accuracy of the shot, law enforcement should not overlook sharpshooters with military experience.
