Bonus Hollander POTD Cherokee Parks. Duke C. Drafted 12th by DAL in 95, where hope was he would fill C hole. After 1 meh season, sent to MIN. Best season was 97-98 (7.1 ppg 5.5 rpg). Bounced to VAN, WAS, LAC, SA + GS as backup thru 2004. Post-NBA life has been interesting.

Hollander POTD Derrick McKey. Alabama F was drafted 9th by SEA in 87. Scored 14 ppg w/good defense his 1st 6 yrs in SEA. Traded to IND in 93 & helped as versatile SF for title contender. Was 2x All-Defense. Played thru 2002. Very underrated player.

Bonus Hollander POTD Rocket Rod Foster. Speedy UCLA PG was drafted 28th in 83 by PHO. Played 3 years as a backup peaking at 9 ppg in 84-85. Career ended in 86 after breaking his leg in a car crash. Coached after retirement as a player.

Hollander POTD Gus Williams. Mt Vernon SG went to USC. Drafted 20th by GS in 75 and was solid bench guy. Signed w/SEA in 77 & thrived. Had 27 ppg in 79 title run. Averaged 20 ppg in 6 yrs in SEA & a 2x All-Star. Also played w/WAS. Retired in 87 at age 33. Recently passed. RIP.

Hollinger POTD Darius Miles. HS phenom from E St Louis was drafted 3rd in 2000 by LAC. Great physical skills was raw & but couldn't shoot well. Traded to CLE in 02 & flipped to POR where he had career high 14 ppg in 05-06 before knee problems ended his career.

Bonus Hollander POTD Yinka Dare. GW C was drafted 14th in 94 by NJ. Large but was really raw. Didn't play as a rookie due to knee. Famously had 0 assists in 626 min in 95-96. Out of NBA by 98. Per bio "trails Stockton by mere 12,168 assists." Sadly died too young in 04.

Hollander POTD Kenny Anderson. NYC PG starred at Georgia Tech drafted 2nd by NJ in 91. Fitch sat him as a rookie but blossomed under Daly. Super quick penetrator who had a great handle. Peaked at 19 ppg 9.6 apg & all-star in 93-94. Also spent time w/POR & BOS thru 2005.

Hollinger POTD Juan Dixon. Maryland G won NCAA title & then drafted 17th in 2002 by WAS. Undersized bench scorer as pro, peaking at 12 ppg in 05-06 w/POR. Played in NBA thru 2009 (also w/DET & TOR). Coached after retirement w/Coppin State.

Bonus Hollander POTD Jim McElroy. Central Michigan G was drafted 38th in 75 by NO. Made the team & developed into a starter peaking at 17 ppg, 6 rpg, 2 spg in 78-79. Signed w/DET in 79 but traded to ATL shortly after but had Achilles issues and retired in 82.

Hollander POTD Monty Williams. Notre Dame SF was drafted 24th by NY in 94. Played a little as a rook but wasn't allowed to shoot. Traded to SA where he peaked at 9 ppg in 96-97. Also played w/ORL, DEN & PHI thru 03. Has coached in NO, PHO & DET (which is still paying him).
