The original Pixel had no camera bump, partially because it was slightly wedge shaped. Should this be explored more for current smartphones?

@techconnectify.bsky.social Sylvania mini LED lights at Target. Mass market lights that FINALLY put a warm white light behind a colored filter.

Underappreciated among techie people is just how important fit and finish for a product really is. My wife has a Framework 12, objectively a mid laptop in terms of specs and display. It's one of her favorite tech devices because of how polished the product is.

Looks like the Switch 2 is going for roughly $650 to $750 on the scalped market. Not as insane as I feared.

I would be shocked if the 9060 XT survives launch day with cards still in stock at close to MSRP the way the 5060 has.

14 months ago, I bought a brand new RTX 4060 for $299.99. Today that exact same listing is up to $429.99.

Bethesda is winning a TON of goodwill today IF the game isn't a mess when people log in.

I'd love to see AMD focus on bringing more SoC solutions to the market for mini PCs that can compete with the consoles' graphics capabilities. Still, this could be interesting with the GPU market being what it is.

The AMD Ryzen AI Max APUs for mobile, originally codenamed Strix Halo, could make an appearance in desktop PCs, as hinted by Dr Lisa Su.

Actually made a video! This motherboard is really cool. #Ryzen mobile 7840 HS engineering samples soldered into a mini-ITX motherboard. 8 cores/16 threads for under $300. youtu.be/rf2a391pbNw?...

After 13 continuous years, I have cancelled my #Netflix membership. Streaming's golden age was when it was A) a better price and B) the market wasn't segmented across so many streaming platforms.

I have a really cool #Ryzen mobile CPU coming in the next couple of weeks. It's a mobile chip packaged on an mATX motherboard. Should make for an excellent AND low power server.

A few of the things I DO with Linux Mint that have been entirely uninterrupted by the switch from Windows to Linux:

Web browsing via Chrome, Steam gaming, word processing, OBS Studio work, Bambu 3D printing, remoting into Windows server, connecting to SMB network shares

I've been running Linux Mint as my daily driver laptop OS for a few weeks now. There's been a couple of tiny hiccups here and there, but for the most part, I'm still happy with the decision to ditch Windows.

I've been using #LinuxMint on my #Framework laptop instead of Windows over the past couple of weeks. I honestly expected to go back to the familiar Windows quickly, but that just hasn't happened.
