lady gaga concert was great fun, even in the pouring rain. nothing quite like singing and dancing with 70k people. but the funniest discovery is that when a whole arena tries to sing the 'next to yoo-oo-ou' part of "die with a smile" it sounds like a pained ghost booing cos not one person is in key

something is not right, something is quite wrong: mentioned "madeline" to french bf and he had no idea what i was talking about. turns out the books are american and even the tv show (which was a french co-production) had zero cultural impact in france. it's their throw a shrimp on the barbie.

since retiring my dad golfs multiple times a week and he still spends his spare time watching golf on tv. the most upsetting thing about being in the room while it's on is discovering there's a type of club called a mini driver and none of the commentators have made a single minnie driver joke.

bf gonna be here in less than two weeks, i'm so excited. it will have been over 6 months since I last saw him. i can't wait 'til we sort out the visa stuff and the long distance is properly behind us.
