I made an announcement on patreon that the next episode was going to be on Codenames, and I had the full script and plan for the episode done.

I'm not going forward with the episode unless something is done about this, which is a shame.

And don't forget the Sensei's Guide! This little handout sums up the whole video/teaching process so you don't have to remember the whole thing. Print it out and leave it in the box so you're ready the next time you Let's Go! to Japan!

There are way too many words to put in the alt text, but there is a pdf version that should work with any screen readers that you need! You can get it for free over on my patreon.

Kingdom Builder is one of my favorite games of all time because of this. I can teach it in under five minutes and we can play it for hours and still find new ways the simple rules reveal emergent complexities.

My biggest piece of advice is to understand what the minimum number of rules is to play.

Not win. Not strategize. Not anything like that, just directed play.

So, one of the things you can do is ask yourself what a player needs to be doing at the start and what do they need to know to do that?
