the people from the liberal democratic opposition sometimes (rarely) ironically referrer to ourselves as sorosoids, for ex: "oh, the boss (Soros) sent me a bonus, so that's why I am attending this protest."

if we are taking about vatnics/ conservatives/ ultra right/ nationalists/ etc., etc, it's still meant as an insult. it means that you are a traitor who is betraying the national interests and "traditional values" for money or that u're an idiot who's doing it for free.

Gaza deal has a real chance to get a prisoner exchange, end to combat operations, and an increase of aid into the territory. As any sort of two state solution or resolution to the overall Israeli-Palestinian conflict, very unlikely. Israel moving ahead with more West Bank settlements, for example.
