Excited to share that I will be giving a contributed talk (and attending the yrCSS warm up) at @css-conference.bsky.social #CCS24! It was completely unthought of to be able to share my first-ever publication (and as first author) in the very field I wish to break into. Looking forward (1/2)

Stats consulting is constantly like:

Them: I want you to run (complex stats)

Me: OK, what's your research question though?

Them: ...A (complex stat)?

Me: Research question?

Them: You know, like the stats in this journal article. Something reviewers will like.

Delayed update but last week I began a full-time paid research assistant role at my home university!

It is my first formal paid job after ~18 years in the SG education system and I am thrilled to have landed this gig (before graduation) doing research no less! 1/6

New print w/@MelissaGWolf on dynamic fit index cutoffs.

Our software can now derive customized DFI cutoffs for ANY covariance structure model (CFA, SEM, mediation, bifactor, etc.) and supports normal, non-normal, categorical, and missing data (and any estimator) 1/9

No SPSS license? But you still want to be able to open and review SPSS files in an SPSS-like environment?
Try out PSPP.
It’s bare bones, but free and does the trick!
