I don't mean to boast, but I'm pretty chuffed with that for a server-side app using #HTMX.

And this is from the live app running in Azure including SQL traffic.

great new hypermedia-friendly feature in Django!
You can also access and render partial templates directly! This can be done using the syntax `template.html#partial_name`.

This works particularly nicely with front end libraries like HTMX that often need to re-render a specific part of a page in isolation.

I’m so into this. You could make reusable behaviors (like focusgroup), template directives (like Vue or HTMX), or handle what people are doing with “LightDOM web components” without custom elements. A predictable API with setup and tear down lifecycle methods would a net win for authoring.
We have Custom Elements, but do we also need Custom Attributes?

This was discussed at TPAC. Is it something you'd like on the platform?

As a longtime Drupal developer now mostly using FastAPI - I’m pumped to not have to deal with Drupal so much and when I do I don’t have to mess around with badly documented JavaScript apis and can just drop HTMX in and have it just work.
