U.S. containment policy has failed where implemented: Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, & Afghanistan. It is a failed Cold War policy predating the formation of the country of Israel. Historically, America's tolerance of perpetual occupation is nil. Nothing is fun about the death or harm of any person.
