i’m going to start blaming integration on Black music losing the funk. and before anyone says it, i know the funk is still in Black music. You just have to work 168 hours a week and have a full military rescue team to find it. it’s out there, you just have to look.

This explains why I’ve spent too much money on highly detailed toy mechs and action figures from my childhood. New toys shit on what we had back in the day.
i think my worst trait is discovering that having grown up money means you can buy all the cool stuff you wanted as a kid but never got to have, and also we live in 2025 so there is proportionally *more* cool stuff than ever. these facts together have lead to me discovering that retail therapy works

Two things you should spend the most you can afford on are a mattress and work boots or shoes.
Hiiiiii! Sleep Specialist here! If you sleep on a bag of rocks and socks until you're 30, you'll need an orthopedic bed by the time you're 40! Your body needs sufficient support when it's in standby! That's why you waking up exhausted and stiff!
If you are 30 and up, your body will tell you to go get a real bed.
