I’m not sure how far I’ll take this at this point, but a fun exercise in creating a macOS app.

Gut feel is that 🍊iPhone 17 Pro Max is calling my name, despite the obvious better looks of the 17 Air in all aspects but the color.

Really happy with how things have been improving in the Obsidian space of late. Bases feature looks to be a game-changer (at least for me personally, databases are fun!), and has pulled me back into Obsidian from the comfy confines of the still excellent NotePlan 3 app.

Every time I return to Obsidian, NotePlan introduces a feature I’ve been waiting for, compelling me to stay. If NotePlan were to develop a Dataview-like plugin, I might never switch to another note-taking application again.
⏳Some Frontmatter UI progress:
- Typable key and value
- Foldable
- Tucked away below the references
- Auto-complete suggestions
- Color picker

Instead of sharing my Apple Music relay list which is littered with kids music at this point in my life (and happily so).
Here are my personal favorite albums of 2024:
1. No Name - Jack White - A return to my favorite Jack White sound.
2. I've Tried Everything but Therapy Pt. 1 - Teddy Swims

Tech I'm thankful for this year:
1. iPad Pro 11" (M4) - first time owning a "small" iPad Pro (came from the 2018 12.9"), and the portability factor has led to a significant increase in my usage.

The true test of Blue Sky for me will be whether NFL Sports/Analytics Twitter engages with the platform during live games today after @minakimes.bsky.social 's great recruitment last week.

Agree with @gruber.foo that the process for setting up a custom domain on Blue Sky is top notch. Already configured with porkbun after moving from Google Domains this evening.

Interesting to watch Beeper and Texts.app battle it out for best universal texting application.
I have been using both and have things I like/dislike about both. Neither support first name handles in Telegram which is a huge bummer.
